Techno & House in Las Vegas

Wondering where you can find Techno / House in Las Vegas?

Less than a week after announcing most of the lineup for the second edition of house and techno-fueled mega-weekend Art of the WildWynn Nightlife has added some of those names to its 2019 residency lineup. XS, Intrigue and Encore Beach Club will see additional performances from Bedouin, Black Coffee, Fisher, Guy Gerber, Jamie Jones, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Nicole Moudaber and The Martinez Brothers throughout the year, along with productions from club and festival music brands elrow, Paradise, Rumors and Saga. It’s not clear yet if any of these residents will perform at Wynn venues before Art of the Wild weekend March 22-24 at XS and Encore Beach Club, but with EBC opening for the season on March 1, anything could happen.

It’s definitely nice to see Vegas embracing some less mainstream forms of electronic dance music!

Drake Residency at XS Starting in 2019

Drake just guaranteed that he’ll be a big winner in Las Vegas over the next couple of years by securing millions of dollars for a residency at one of the hottest Las Vegas clubs on The Strip.

Sources close to the deal tell The Blast the “God’s Plan” singer recently agreed to a multi-year deal, with a minimum 10 show commitment at XS Nightclub inside the Wynn casino and hotel. We’re told the deal guarantees Drake more than $10 million.

Last week the hip-hop star performed at XS during the Consumers Electronics Show and hinted at the longterm deal, telling the crowd, “I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lot of chances to see me.”

We’re told Drake was highly sought after by many clubs in Las Vegas, as it becomes the growing trend to lock down big celebrities, like J. Lo and Lady Gaga, to residency deals. After discussions with many clubs, we’re told October’s Very Own chose XS due to its high exposure and ability to consistently bring in the biggest crowds.

Which dates will Drake be playing at XS?

It’s unclear when tickets will go on sale, but it appears the official announcement is coming soon as Drake dropped a photo last week of himself performing at XS, and proclaiming, “New home.”

As soon as dates are announced they will be posted here. Check back here for updates!

Swedish House Mafia at XS / Encore Beach Club in 2019?

Stay tuned for updates!

Wynn nightlife’s instagram account just posted a teaser image of what could possibly be Swedish House Mafia’s return to Las Vegas. This iconic trio has already lined up a few reunion events around the world in 2019, and they seem poised to announce a residency or at least a few shows at the Wynn nightlife venues, which include XS Nightclub, Intrigue Nightclub, and Encore Beach Club.

Wynn Paradise Park Scheduled for Late 2017

Work will begin by the end of the year or in early 2018 on the first phase of Steve Wynn’s next big Las Vegas creation, Wynn Paradise Park, a 20-acre lagoon that would host watersports by day and fireworks displays at night.

Wynn Chairman and CEO Steve Wynn devoted much of the company’s first-quarter earnings conference call Tuesday providing details of the project that will be built on what is now an 18-hole golf course just east of Wynn Las Vegas and Encore.

In early descriptions of the project, Wynn envisioned a lagoon surrounded by new convention facilities, new restaurants and retail, a hotel room tower, a white-sand beach and a boardwalk.

Wynn also dedicated time on the call to his expectation that the relocation of the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas and construction of a new Las Vegas stadium to house the team would be a massive success for Southern Nevada.

“I love that the Raiders are coming,” said Wynn, who said he talked NFL football with Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti during a recent vacation in the Bahamas. “This was whipped cream and a cherry on the cake.”

He said when the Super Bowl is staged in Las Vegas — and he predicted there would be multiple appearances — that “this city will go bonkers.” Wynn predicted Las Vegas would become known as the sports capital of the nation when the Raiders arrive and that the National Basketball Association would someday locate a franchise at the T-Mobile Arena.

But the biggest news for Wynn was the startup plan for Paradise Park, which may be slightly smaller than previously announced.

Wynn said it will be a phased project with the lagoon and beach amenities expected to be completed by early 2019.

Wynn said the idea of phasing construction is to open an attraction that should drive other amenities in a “conservative but dynamic approach.

“We would masterplan the entire event and build beach-front meeting space, ballrooms, cabanas and pools that represented the certain need we had at the moment,” Wynn explained to investors.
He said drawings and plans will be completed by the end of the year.

“The first phase begins in December or January and should go rather quickly,” he said. “We realized we had an immediate problem, the (trade) shows (the resort hosts) are getting bigger every year and are outgrowing us.

“We would build the lagoon 1,500 feet long and 800-odd feet wide with a 4,000-foot boardwalk with white-sand beaches and watersports and attractions, bar, food service … build that first. That would energize the real estate, the 130-odd acres that is the golf course. We’d build at first the part that would immediately power up our existing restaurants, our existing casino, our existing convention and meeting and catering operation with an absolute certain return on that investment of in excess of 10 or 15 percent.”

Wynn runs several nightlife/dayclub venues on their properties, including Intrigue, XS, Surrender, and Encore Beach Club.

Kesha Kicks off Mini Residency at Intrigue Nightclub in Vegas

#FreeKesha supporters will soon get to see Kesha back on stage.

Kesha is set to headline three nights at the Wynn Las Vegas’s Intrigue nightclub, where she will perform a collection of her greatest hits.

Tickets for the June 23, June 25 and July 23 concerts can be purchased here.

Kesha was last in Las Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards in May, where she earned a standing ovation for her moving tribute to Bob Dylan.

The ‘We R Who We R’ singer has only performed live sporadically over the last year, as she’s battled her former producer Dr Luke and Sony Music to be freed from her recording contract.

Earlier this year, Sony and Dr Luke allowed Kesha’s collaboration with Zedd on ‘True Colors’ to be released as a single.

However, the legal battle continues with a face-to-face deposition set for this month.
