5 Hottest Bachelorette Spots in Las Vegas

Having trouble planning your bachelorette / hen party? Well if you’re thinking Sin City, bright lights, and booze-fueled benders, then you’ve come to the perfect corner of the web. Las Vegas, the city practically designed for soon-to-be-brides and their posse of bridesmaid girlfriends, is the best place to make all of your wild party dreams come true. However, brimming with endless possibilities for hedonistic indulgence, planning the perfect night in Sin City can be a bit of a challenge.

Luckily, you have Discotech to help you recreate The Hangover –bachelorette edition, for a night that you and your girlfriends will be talking about for decades. Here is a list of 5 of our favorite activities and party packages for your final night of freedom. You only get married once (ideally), so there is absolutely no excuse not to pop some over-priced champagne and have a high quality night filled with pleasure, plastic tiaras, and penis-shaped party favors.

1. Marquee Nightclub and Dayclub

Marquee has it all, for those of you who do not want to hop around town. Start of your festivities at their day club for an epic pool party, before heading to their nightclub. Marquee really takes care of you, as the packages they offer are truly one-of-a-kind. For example, with their Rent the Runway package, you’ll get a Grand Cabana at the day club, an hour of open bar, a dress from Rent the Runway (you don’t even have to pack a dress!), and VIP entry to the nightclub. A little tip from us is to buy the higher tier of the package to skip the line completely. On top of that, additional packages include ERA by Ciara for in-room makeup and Gimme Some Sugar for cupcakes on your VIP table to spruce up the celebrations. Sign up for the free Marquee guestlist or book a table at Marquee LV for your bachelorette party today!

2. Canyon Ranch Spa

In case you and your girlfriends need to rejuvenate after your late-night bender we suggest you check out the Canyon Ranch Spa, shared by the Venetian and Palazzo hotels. This place is the Disneyland of spas, offering an impressive 134,000-square-feet of fitness classes, a rock-climbing wall, Aquavana thermal suite, spa packages, healthy spa cuisine, and of course— a VIP bridal suite where you and your girlfriends can get pampered with mimosas (remember, the fastest way to cure a hangover is to pour yourself a cocktail). We suggest you grab lunch at the Canyon Ranch Grill and lounge in the salt grotto after exploring the rest of the spa. After a day at the Canyon Ranch Spa, we can guarantee you will feel like a million bucks.

3. TAO Nightclub and Beach

Tao has the bachelorette thing down — they even offer an enthusiastic bachelorette coordinator who hosts you and your posse from dinner at TAO Asian Bistro to TAO Nightclub (or Beach during the summer).  They’ll arrange limo transportation, hair & makeup, and bring you a cake at your table so you can really fulfill your deepest bachelorette diva dreams. This place is swarming with celebrities, and is the location Kim Kardashian chose for her bachelorette party. Get ready to ball out, because the best table locations start at $2,500 and comes with a bottle of champagne. If you don’t want to dish out for a table reservation, sign up for free guest list through Discotech to get entry into the nightclub, TAO Beach in the summer, and LAVO Party Brunch in the winter.

4. Hakkasan

(source: Hakkasan Group)

Hakkasan is probably the most monstrously LIT club on Vegas nightlife block. This five story gargantuan venue has a shocking 7,000+ capacity, complete with technicolor lighting and massive video/LED screens, which cost an estimated $200 million to build. On top of that, this colossal nightclub boasts various restaurants, lounges, and different dance floor zones to accommodate all of your bachelorette party needs. A downside to Hakkasan is the ridiculous amount of stairs, which may be annoying if you and your girlfriends are strutting around in high heels. But their Custom Concierge Service is stocked with all types of all-inclusive bachelorette catered party packages, from VIP table service, Lounge Specials, Daylife Pool Parties, VIP transportation, as well as access to Vegas’s best male review shows. Get on the free Hakkasan guestlist on Discotech!

5. Stripper 101

(source: Rush49)

In case you need to burn off those raspberry Cosmopolitans, we recommend you stop by Stripper 101, which is exactly what it sounds like: professional pole dancing lessons taught to you by real strippers! A huge favorite among bachelorette parties in Las Vegas, Stripper 101 has been featured on E! News, Cosmopolitan, and the Daily Ten. This fun and crazy workout, dubbed the “Night school for girls” will have you feeling toned and club-ready in no time.

Whatever you and your girlfriends choose to do, remember to drink plenty of water and stay safe. Also we suggest packing your most comfortable pair of heels (or extra flip flops) because there will be a LOT of walking happening. Last but not least, remember to have fun and bask in the glory of Las Vegas as well as the present moment of celebrating YOU.

Las Vegas Pool Party / Dayclub Dress Code

In a town known for unclear dress codes — you can dine at a fine restaurant or attend a top-tier show in jeans and a nice T-shirt — it might be hard to know what to wear, what to bring and what outfit fits best with the club you’re attending. Funny enough, the stricter dress codes are being enforced in what might seem the most unlikely of places: at Las Vegas pool parties.

MGM Grand’s Wet Republic require women to wear a swimsuit with a sundress or wrap and encourages them to do their hair and wear heels. Men should sport board shorts, a T-shirt and sandals or flip-flops; undershirts, cut-off shorts yet athletic gear like gym shorts, sneakers and sports jerseys are forbidden.

The same goes for Encore Beach Club, where baggy clothes, chains and see-through swimwear will get you no further than the door. And don’t expect to get into Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan or Tao Beach at the Venetian without similar pool-appropriate attire and footwear to keep you covered as you navigate through the hotel.

However inside the club, guests are free to keep clothing to a minimum, provided they meet the requirements. Tiny bikinis and Speedos may spice things up, but don’t expect a string-and-pasties ensemble or mesh male thong to qualify as swimwear.

“Guests have an expectation of a five-star experience. Our bungalows, cabanas and lily pads go for a high premium, and that sets the attitude for what the people paying for them expect and how guests should behave,” said Pauly Freedman, director of operations for Encore Beach Club. “That includes dressing appropriately. We want people to have fun, and we encourage it, but we’re at the Wynn, not down the street. Dress to impress.”

Indeed, pool clubs are enforcing dress codes in a scene that’s more “ultra lounge” than “lounge by the pool.” As with the clubs’ indoor nighttime counterparts, a stroll past a pool club entrance on a weekend afternoon often reveals long lines snaking back into the hotel, with guests waiting as long as an hour to pay premium cover charges (which average about $30 for women and $50 for men) to get past the door. Inside, pricey cocktails and even pricier daybed and cabana rentals await, but so do star-powered DJ sets and raucous dance parties. For many, it’s a price tag worth the experience.

The dayclub pool party trend evolved out of the popular nightclub scene of the late ’90s, emerging in the early ’00s with upscale pool clubs like Moorea Beach at Mandalay Bay (which also has a strict dress code, despite being top-optional or “toptional”).

Despite the upscale atmosphere, you don’t have to invest in a designer swimsuit or risk slipping in a pair of stilettos to partake in pool club festivities. Like many of the Strip’s nightclubs, the dress codes aren’t usually on display but exist largely to set parameters for what is and isn’t appropriate rather than to screen guests for chicness and style. Still, consider a quick phone call to the venue or go online beforehand to check up on dress codes and cover charges to ensure that your time in line isn’t spent in vain.

“If you’re going to a formal event, that doesn’t mean you have to have a tie or tuxedo, but there are certain things that look out of place, and the same thinking can be applied to our pool clubs,” said David Long, the director of security for Tao Beach and Marquee Dayclub.

His hard-line concern is that guests are covered and wearing footwear as they migrate between the hotel and the pool out of respect to other patrons.

Though pool personnel largely have to deal with guests being underdressed, they do sometimes encounter the opposite problem.

“We have a lot of guys who show up in suits,” said Rebeccah Gannon, director of guest services for Angel Management Group, which handles Wet Republic. “I think they’re dressing to impress the girls, which I get, because who doesn’t like a guy in a suit? But that’s not exactly proper pool attire.” Definitely save the suit for when you head to a Vegas hip hop club instead of a pool party.

She encourages guests to have fun with the dress code and show off their personal style, but adds that there is one must-have fashion accessory for this summer’s pool party circuit: a valid photo ID.

Tao Nightclub to Debut V.I.We – A Shared VIP / Bottle Service Experience

Good deals have a long history in Las Vegas. Our desert oasis was sewn together by the threads of 99-cent breakfast specials, comped cocktails and world-class hospitality. Legend has it that an apostrophe was left off the name of a certain Roman inspired Strip property, because its founder wanted every visitor to feel like royalty. In the realm of Las Vegas nightlife, however, the past few years have seen a fraying of the threads, a divide between bottle poppers with table service and those who watch the bottle popping from the general admission area. Tao Group’s entertainment marketing director Mike Snedegar aims to weave those two experiences together with a new cost-effective way to access bottle service luxury: V.I.We.

Debuting April 27 at Tao Nightclub, V.I.We has been in development since December. In November, Snedegar attended the digital symposium The Culture Salons, which presented data about younger Las Vegas clubgoers whose preferences didn’t seem to fit the traditional table minimum methods.

“A lot of the younger kids want a more inclusive experience,” Snedegar says. “This younger market grew up seeing Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian come to Las Vegas and celebrate their birthdays here. But most of those kids don’t have the budget to do bottle service.”

Similar to the cost-sharing model of Uber Pool, V.I.We allows users to purchase access to an area of shared tables and spare the cost of buying bottles on their own. Admission to the V.I.We section costs $50 for women and $100 for men, plus tax and gratuity. (Prices are subject to change during special events and holidays.) Snedegar says tickets can be purchased in advance on taolasvegas.com (Use promo code DISCO to get $5 off your ticket), or at the venue, depending on availability. Once guests enter the designated V.I.We area, they will have access to some bubbly, vodka and tequila, and of course, cocktail servers to pour drinks and replenish bottles. Brands include Absolut Elyx vodka, Avion Silver tequila and Campo Viejo sparkling wine.

“I’m really working to create a party within a party,” Snedegar says, adding that the V.I.We tables will be in a prominent section of the club that provides a sweeping view of main-floor activity. “It’s a way for people to save money, but it’s also a way for people to meet [others] they might not have met if they’d bought a separate table or if they had just bought general admission [access].” In addition to catering to younger guests, Snedegar says the V.I.We model should appeal to groups with varying budgets, or businesspeople traveling solo.

Snedegar and his team have focused their marketing efforts on a video and social media campaign to educate and entice potential visitors. After all, it’s largely the app-savvy millennial that Tao Group hopes to reach.

“This experience is not for everybody,” Snedegar says. “A lot of people are going to want their own table, but there are a lot of people coming to Las Vegas who want to spend less money and still get that VIP treatment. The more options you can give to the customer, the happier they’re going to be.”

If this initiative takes off, don’t be surprised to see the program expanded to Tao Group’s other venues, including Tao Beach, Marquee, and Marquee Dayclub.

Winter Pool Parties Continue at Marquee Dayclub Dome

Partying outside in winter has become a standard for Marquee at The Cosmopolitan as the Dayclub Dome continues its third season. The dome towers 50 feet above the dance floor and shields the entire 22,000 square-foot pool club from the elements. Moreover, the heating system ensures a dependable 80-90 degrees at all times, allowing Marquee Dayclub to book top talent all day, all year long.

Marquee’s Dayclub Dome is open from 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. every Saturday till mid-March. Cover at the door is $45 for men and $25 for ladies (although that can change depending on who is performing); tickets purchased online at marqueelasvegas.com are sometimes cheaper in advance. You can get $5 off your tickets with Marquee promo code DISCO. The Weekend All Access wristband ($80 men, $30 ladies) grants unlimited entry to the Dome as well as Marquee Nightclub on Friday and Saturday. Upcoming talent includes Audien (Jan. 7), Vice (Jan. 14), TJR (Jan. 21), Shaun Frank (Jan. 28) and Jermaine Dupri (Feb 4). If you’re looking to include Marquee Dayclub in your Sunday Funday, Thomas Jack and Mike Attack will be under the Dome on January 15 and 22, respectively.

Following the success of the Dayclub Dome’s first-ever nighttime pool party on New Year’s Day, Marquee will host select holiday Sunday nighttime parties beginning Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, as well as daytime NFL viewing parties starting January 7 and leading up to the Super Bowl on February 5.

Looking further out, Marquee Dayclub Dome will once again host Insomniac Events’ Halfway to EDC party on an as-yet-unannounced date (it’s usually in February). This celebration of the summer’s largest dusk-till-dawn EDM festival has been known to offer the same creativity as the Insomniac party it honors. For example, last year, attendees were greeted by dancers in clown makeup and bright pink corsets, while other entertainers donned giant red and white butterfly wings. In addition to the colorful characters running about, extra LED screens are installed around and above the crowd.

This party also doesn’t skimp on musical talent; last year’s affair saw eight DJs on deck each day, including Jauz and Dash Berlin, representing several styles of EDM. Insomniac outdoes itself in its mission to reflect the same festival environment that fills the Las Vegas Motor Speedway at the end of June. For those who want to feel as if they’re front row at EDC’s Main Stage right now, this is your chance.

Marquee Dayclub Dome Open Every Saturday 2016-2017

A common lament of visitors to Las Vegas in late fall comes with the discovery that Las Vegas’ legendary pool parties are not a year-round affair.

While most casino swimming pools stay open all year long, the Las Vegas dayclub pool party scene — complete with big-name DJs, high-wattage light shows and bikini-clad throngs grooving between cabanas with high-priced bottle service — is closed from mid-October until spring.

The Marquee Dayclub Dome at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, however, keeps the party going by bringing the club indoors — or more accurately, bringing the indoors to the club, which otherwise is an outdoor party destination. This is the third year that the Dome has been in service.

The dome is semipermanent structure made of a glasslike fabric that weighs 106,000 pounds and covers nearly 30,000 square feet of pool area at The Cosmopolitan. It comes complete with a sprinkler system and other safety features made necessary by the disappearance of the Harmon Hotel next door, which changed relevant wind patterns. Temperatures inside can be maintained between 80 and 90 degrees.

In previous years, the indoor dayclub was open for just a few special dates. But this year the Marquee domed dayparty will be in full swing every Saturday through the winter, until pool season officially kicks off in March.

If you’re looking to buy tickets, you can use code DISCO at MarqueeLasVegas.com to get $5 off your ticket purchases.

If you’re looking to book tables or sign up for free guestlist on pool parties in Vegas, check out our free mobile app.

The DJs line up so far:
