What are the best parties in Las Vegas on Wednesdays?
Wednesday is probably the slowest day in the notorious Sin City, but you can’t really have a boring day here — if you know where to go. Here we have the best places to spend your Wednesday nights in Las Vegas:
Unannounced appearances from A-list celebrities and impromptu performances from some of the best up-and-coming talents are just two of the many surprises you see in 1 OAK. This world-class, upscale nightclub is the go-to spot in Vegas for Hip Hop music. Two floors spanning over 16,000 square feet carry two separate rooms equipped with two full service bars and state-of-art DJ Booths. 1 OAK Las Vegas is no doubt the best of its sister clubs around the world.
As the giants close their doors during weekdays, Light steps up to claim the spot of the biggest club open on a Wednesday. You won’t see a sell out crowd like you would in the mega-clubs during weekends, but Light boasts great talent and solid bottle prices to make sure you and your wallet both make it past the night happy. If you’re buying tickets to Light events, remember to throw in our exclusive promo code DISCO during checkout to get a $2 off discount.
Wynn Nightlife is one of the biggest players in the Las Vegas nightlife industry, and that means its smallest child Intrigue does just as well as any other nightclub to contribute to that success. Intrigue does not compare to the size and glamour of the big guys like XS, Hakkasan, Omnia, etc. but it does make sure their performing talents are way above par. In here, modest bottle and ticket prices can get you the quality and music of a mega club. Hands down the best EDM club in the city on a Wednesday night!
Sitting at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower replica at Paris Hotel, Chateau is a 22,000 square feet nightclub with an outdoor garden rooftop that overlooks the bustling activity on the strip. The rooftop doubles as a beer garden during the day so this is a great place for you and your friends to get in the mood before moving on to the louder scenes. Note that the rooftop here only opens during good weather so make sure you check with them (or us) before making the trip out there!
Use promo code DISCO at TheLightVegas.com to get $2 off each ticket for the New Years Eve event at Light Nightclub with Ludacris for the 2017 / 2018 NYE.
There will not be a guestlist for this event – it will be bottle service and tickets only.
This ticket includes express entry and open bar until midnight!
This is going to be a 100% sold out night so buy your tickets now. We also recommend arriving EARLY – the club opens at 9. If you don’t want to wait in lines we recommend arriving by 8:30. Get there early to take advantage of the open bar!

As the weather gets into the triple digits in Vegas, clothing becomes more and more inconvenient, which is exactly why Ben Franklin invented topless pools. So, for your gawking needs, we now present the list of all the, um, “European-style” pools in Vegas that you need to know about.
Bare Pool at the Mirage
The OG of topless pools, Bare just launched the tops-off-encouraged Bare Brunch, because everyone needs a breakfast burrito along with their magnum of Grey Goose. We have a free guestlist – free for ladies and even ratio parties. Sign up on our mobile app!
The first pool owned and operated by an actual topless club. You can expect things to get a little rowdier here with parties hosted by your favorite “movie” stars like Bree Olson, plus plenty of poles for pool-pole dancing. This concept combines a strip club with a dayclub – it doesn’t get much better than this!
Venus Pool Club at Caesars
Venus European Pool Lounge is the most well-appointed and exclusive Las Vegas pool experience at the oasis. The sophisticated and secluded European-style retreat offers high-end food and beverage choices for you to indulge in while perfecting your summer tan. All drinks are topped and made with the freshest fruits and ingredients. Light treats include sushi rolls, crisp salads, sandwiches and burgers served straight from the grill.
The 10,000-square-foot retreat hosts 14 cabanas, 16 day beds, 10 couches and plenty of chaise lounge chairs. You’ll find the perfect spot to catch rays, people-watch or just take in the lush surroundings.
Venus Pool admission is $30 for gentlemen and free for women. Locals receive free admission on Thursdays! All Caesars Palace and Nobu guests receive $10 off admission before 1:00 p.m.
European Pool at the Artisan
If you’re looking for a more intimate spot with a really subtle name, the Naked Pool still offers a selection of VIP cabanas and daybeds. Oh, and on Fridays, they crank things up with their Bottom’s Up (unfortunately not Down) Pool Party!
Moorea Pool Club at Mandalay Bay
Along with its “Toptional Beach”, this is one of the larger pools of the group, offering living rooms, 12ft “opium beds” at the center of the action, a 250sqft pavilion with a private pool, and third-floor Moorea Villas.
Daydream Pool at the M Resort
A hidden gem a few miles down the strip, DayDream offers up high energy DJs, pasties for the ladies who’re looking to cover up a little bit but would be MORTIFIED to be found wearing a bikini top, and very adult beer pong tables.

In December of last year Hakkasan Group purchased a controlling stake in Light Group and 22 of its properties including Light Nightclub and Daylight Dayclub. Already responsible for MGM’s Hakkasan and Wet Republic properties, as well as Caesar’s brand new superclub Omnia, Hakkasan Group aims to differentiate Light from its other properties by focusing on a diversely-curated lineup rather than mainstream superstars. With that in mind, Daylight at the Mandalay bay is introducing the Sundown concept, the Strip’s first deep house day party / sunset party.
The new weekly party, to be held every Sunday at Daylight, is the brainchild of brand development VP Zee Zandi, marketing manager Pearce Cleaveland and renowned producer Nic Fanciulli, who plans to bring a lot of his underground DJ friends along for the ride. Inspired by Ibiza’s celebrated sunset parties, Daylight is ready to pair top, underground house music talent with the vibrant natural wonder Las Vegas displays at each day’s end. Beginning with Guy Gerber on April 26, some of the most revered alternative DJs will take the stage every Sunday sunset, crafting a visual and harmonious experience.
This party starts at 2 PM in the afternoon and runs until 11 PM at night. We have a free girl’s guestlist as well as a free or discounted even ratio guest list for Sundown at Daylight. To get on the guestlist or book bottle service, download the Discotech mobile app.
Sundown’s current lineup:
- 4/26/15 – Guy Gerber
- 5/3/15 – Nic Fanciulli
- 5/10/15 – Spacebyrdz
- 5/17/15 – Disclosure
- 5/24/15 – Danny Tenaglia
Returning as the headlining resident DJ at Light in 2015 is Alesso. A club resident since its conception, Alesso is a rising star who in 2015 will be a major pinnacle in the dance music space. His track “Heroes (we could be)” with Tove Lo raced up the charts in late 2014 and was just a taste of what to expect as he will release his debut studio album on Def Jam this year. Also returning to LIGHT is DJ and music legend Carl Cox, whose pioneering ways have not only paved the way for dance music to be where it is today, but also endeared him to generations of electronic music fans worldwide. In addition, there is Axwell along with Ingrosso, both who together are releasing an album on Def Jam in 2015; Baauer, who will continue to bring his massively popular Studio B monthly residency; And GTA who have been blowing up the festival circuit with their Miami bass productions.
New at Light, as the club ventures into its third year as one of the most sought after destinations on the Vegas strip, is U.K. talent Disclosure. Known more as a live act, at Light their appearances will be a rare DJ set. Having previously taken place in New York City, San Francisco and Chicago, LIGHT will serve as the Las Vegas home for Disclosure’s Wild Life specially-curated shows. Called a “joyous and masterful” show by Consequence of Sound, it’s an event with friends and artists they like. Also onboard is EDM pioneer Fat Boy Slim, hip-hop megastar adventurers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and will.i.am, known for his incredible tracks with the Black Eyed Peas and accomplished producer in his own right. There is also DJ Mustard who is making major moves in hip-hop production circles having already created major hits for the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Trey Songz, Kid Ink and 2 Chainz just to name a few.

True to its mission of being a laboratory for inspired experiences, Light has been experimenting since it’s opening with new artistic content on a monthly basis. In 2015, Light is bringing a fresh look to the club with its new Artistic Director Maximiliano Torandell. The Argentinean producer and performer will soon unveil new moments and performances for a sexy and avant-garde Light 2015 show. What makes a Cirque performance at LIGHT different than any of the other Vegas shows? “Light is a nightclub, not a stage show and therefore the requirements for the performances are different,” says Torandell. “We want the performers be capable of seducing and captivating our audience without separating them from the club experience. We don’t want people sitting down and watching a show, we want a flawless integration of the performance and the party.” Watch for more on Light’s new artistic direction.
