Las Vegas Pool Parties Open for 2021 Season
Looking for updates on the status of the Las Vegas pool party scene in 2021? Also, checking for the guest list for pool parties in Vegas?
Most of the major Las Vegas pool parties will reopen in March of 2021, but the scene will still be vastly different from the past. No general admission or guest list will be available – bottle service reservations are required for all guests.
Encore Beach Club at Encore Las Vegas joins the list of adult pools returning as a more serene environment. Now dubbed Encore Beach Club Pool returns on Friday, March 5, with weekend hours, live music, and food and drink. The pool for those age 21 and older takes reservations for Fridays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas returns on Friday, March 5, as the Pool Marquee, dubbed โan amplified, more mature pool experience for guests 21 years or older with reservations.โ The pool expanded its seating areas, including an exclusive new section by the deejay, and added five new bungalow cabanas. Resident DJs will be spinning tunes. The Pool Marquee will be open from 11 a.m. to sunset each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Reservations are required, especially for daybeds, cabanas, and tables. Mandalay Bay Beach and its 11-acre aquatic playground returns in March with a 1.6 million-gallon wave pool, lazy river, 2,700 tons of sand, and more. Daylight Beach Club returns March 5. The adults-only Moorea Beach Club also returns in March.
Bare Pool Lounge at the Mirage reopens in March 19 from 11 a.m. to 4. p.m. Friday through Sunday for those 21 and older. The resortโs pool already reopened Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wet Republic Ultra Pool, the pool experience at the MGM Grand, also returns on Friday, March 5, as an extension of the resort pool. Reservations are required for hotel and non-hotel guests and all visitors must be 21 and over. No general admission is permitted. Wet Republic Ultra Pool will be open Thursdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. until close.
Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria reopens on Friday, March 12, as an extension of the resort pool. Liquid Pool Lounge will be open Fridays through Sundays from 11 a.m. until close for those 21 and older. Reservations are required for hotel and non-hotel guests and all visitors must be 21 and over. No general admission is permitted.
Drai’s Beach Club is one of the few pool parties that has yet to announce any plans for the 2021 pool season.

Daylight Beach Club Reopens July 2
After closing its doors in March due to COVID-19 concerns,ย Daylight Beach at Mandalay Bayย will reopen on Thurs. July 2 – just in time for July 4th weekend.
Daylight Beach will offer an adult-only pool experience to guests 21 and older, featuring music, a diverse food menu, bottle service and a variety of craft and frozen cocktails.
They aren’t bringing back the big DJs and artists yet, instead featuring local DJ talent playing top 40 / open format music.
โWe have implemented extraordinary measures to safeguard both our guests and employees to ensure a low-risk environment with health and safety at the forefront,โ said operators Play Management in a statement.
There will NOT be any general admission or guest list to start – guests mustย make a daybed or cabana reservation to be enter, with a strict limit on guests permitted at each table due to social distancing requirements.

Bare Pool at The Mirage (Hip Hop/ Top 40)
Located in the Mirage, Bare Pool acts almost like a secret hideaway; to find it, one must trek down a winding pathway through a jungle oasis. Upon arrival, guests will find an intimate pool area where women are allowed to wander topless. Bare offers a more relaxing, chill atmosphere without the wall-to-wall, packed-in feeling of some of the other clubs listed. Las Vegas Pool Party / Dayclub Dress Code
In a town known for unclear dress codes โ you can dine at a fine restaurant or attend a top-tier show in jeans and a nice T-shirt โ it might be hard to know what to wear, what to bring and what outfit fits best with the club you’re attending. Funny enough, the stricter dress codes are being enforced in what might seem the most unlikely of places: at Las Vegas pool parties.
MGM Grandโs Wet Republic require women to wear a swimsuit with a sundress or wrap and encourages them to do their hair and wear heels. Men should sport board shorts, a T-shirt and sandals or flip-flops; undershirts, cut-off shorts yet athletic gear like gym shorts, sneakers and sports jerseys are forbidden.
The same goes for Encore Beach Club, where baggy clothes, chains and see-through swimwear will get you no further than the door. And donโt expect to get into Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan or Tao Beach at the Venetian without similar pool-appropriate attire and footwear to keep you covered as you navigate through the hotel.
However inside the club, guests are free to keep clothing to a minimum, provided they meet the requirements. Tiny bikinis and Speedos may spice things up, but donโt expect a string-and-pasties ensemble or mesh male thong to qualify as swimwear.
โGuests have an expectation of a five-star experience. Our bungalows, cabanas and lily pads go for a high premium, and that sets the attitude for what the people paying for them expect and how guests should behave,โ said Pauly Freedman, director of operations for Encore Beach Club. โThat includes dressing appropriately. We want people to have fun, and we encourage it, but weโre at the Wynn, not down the street. Dress to impress.โ
Indeed, pool clubs are enforcing dress codes in a scene thatโs more โultra loungeโ than โlounge by the pool.โ As with the clubsโ indoor nighttime counterparts, a stroll past a pool club entrance on a weekend afternoon often reveals long lines snaking back into the hotel, with guests waiting as long as an hour to pay premium cover charges (which average about $30 for women and $50 for men) to get past the door. Inside, pricey cocktails and even pricier daybed and cabana rentals await, but so do star-powered DJ sets and raucous dance parties. For many, itโs a price tag worth the experience.
The dayclub pool party trend evolved out of the popular nightclub scene of the late โ90s, emerging in the early โ00s with upscale pool clubs like Moorea Beach at Mandalay Bay (which also has a strict dress code, despite being top-optional or โtoptionalโ).
Despite the upscale atmosphere, you donโt have to invest in a designer swimsuit or risk slipping in a pair of stilettos to partake in pool club festivities. Like many of the Stripโs nightclubs, the dress codes arenโt usually on display but exist largely to set parameters for what is and isnโt appropriate rather than to screen guests for chicness and style. Still, consider a quick phone call to the venue or go online beforehand to check up on dress codes and cover charges to ensure that your time in line isnโt spent in vain.
โIf youโre going to a formal event, that doesnโt mean you have to have a tie or tuxedo, but there are certain things that look out of place, and the same thinking can be applied to our pool clubs,โ said David Long, the director of security for Tao Beach and Marquee Dayclub.
His hard-line concern is that guests are covered and wearing footwear as they migrate between the hotel and the pool out of respect to other patrons.
Though pool personnel largely have to deal with guests being underdressed, they do sometimes encounter the opposite problem.
โWe have a lot of guys who show up in suits,โ said Rebeccah Gannon, director of guest services for Angel Management Group, which handles Wet Republic. โI think theyโre dressing to impress the girls, which I get, because who doesnโt like a guy in a suit? But thatโs not exactly proper pool attire.โ Definitely save the suit for when you head to a Vegas hip hop club instead of a pool party.
She encourages guests to have fun with the dress code and show off their personal style, but adds that there is one must-have fashion accessory for this summerโs pool party circuit: a valid photo ID.
