Las Vegas Residency Artists in 2021

Las Vegas is a city renowned for its plethora of night clubs, gorgeous hotel-casino resorts, and diverse entertainment opportunities. In particular, the city is home to a number of musical artist residencies that perform regularly throughout the year, showcasing their concerts over a multitude of events. While the Corona Virus has postponed a majority of the performers, we were still able to curate a list of the few who remain scheduled to perform this year. With that being said, take a look below and see if any of these Las Vegas Residency Artists of 2021 line up with you and your friends’ getaway weekend plans!

1. Usher: July 16th 2021 – January 1st 2022

As an R&B artist that has been performing in front of fans since 1994, Usher has transcended decades of avid listeners with smash hits such as, “Yeah!” and “My Boo.” His residency will take place at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, occurring mainly in the months of July and December with a solo show on January 1st, 2022. Starting prices for tickets are $59, however prices increase if you choose to watch the performance in a VIP or Ultimate Banquet seat. All of his shows will begin at 9pm PST, so be sure to organize your plans accordingly!

2. Sting: May 7th – November 13th 

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will also be home to Sting, a Soft Rock artist who has amazed fans with his solo music career ever since he split from his previous band, The Police. In May and October of this year the artist will perform songs from his latest album, “Sting: My Songs,” which showcases his most famous worldwide hits over the years including “Every Breath You Take, and “Roxanne.” Ticket prices begin at $59, and increase if you choose to watch the performance in a VIP or Ultimate Banquet seat. His shows debut at 8pm PST, giving you enough time to have an early dinner while simultaneously allowing you to schedule any additional Vegas plans after the show!

3. Cher: May 21st – September 25th

Cher, a multi-talented pop star, will be performing in Park Theater at The Park Las Vegas this summer!  Best known for her singing, acting, and television show presence, the artist will perform music from all stages of her career ranging from the early 70s all the way to her latest 2018 album, “Dancing Queen.” Cher will perform in two shows: one on May 21st at 7:30pm PST, and the other on September 25th at 7pm PST. So if you are a die-hard Cher fan, we recommend that you book your tickets soon in order to secure a spot for her performance that is sure to be mind blowing!

4. Morrisey: August 28th – September 5th

The last Caesars Palace resident is Morrisey, an Alternative-Indie artist celebrated for his famous songs such as, “Suedehead” and “Everyday is Like Sunday.” After the 1987 split from his previous band, the Smiths, Morrisey decided to pursue a solo career that allowed him to debut his first album, “Viva Hate.” (His Vegas performance is titled “Viva Moz Vegas, a potential nod to this well-received album.) Morrisey’s August and September shows start at 8:30pm PST, making him a great artist to incorporate into your end-of-summer Vegas vacation plans! His tickets also debut at $59, increasing in price if you decide to book a VIP or Ultimate Banquet seat. 

5. Donny Osmond: August 31st – November 16th

Osmond will be performing in Harrah’s Showroom at the Harrahs Hotel, which will be home to many firsts for the singer. This will be his first solo residency ever, breaking away from his 11 year residency at The Flamingo in which he performed alongside his sister Maris Osmond. In addition, this will be the first year that he performs at Harrah, making the shows that much more special!  You will have ample opportunities to see Donny Osmond this year due to his four month long residency from August through November, with all shows starting at 8pm PST. Tickets start at $65, increasing in price as you get closer to the stage.

6. ZZ Top: April 9th – 17th

The Venetian Theater will be home to ZZ Top this summer, a three-man-band acclaimed for their famous songs, “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Gimme All Your Lovin.” The group initially began their career in Texas with a musical emphasis on Blues, slowly transforming their image and sound into one of Classical Rock. 2019 marked their 50 year anniversary together, and since they were not able to continue their celebration into 2020 we know that their 2021 residency at The Venetian is sure to be epic! Ticket prices begin at $63, increasing in price as you get closer to the stage. ZZ Top’s shows are only in April, so if you’re interested in purchasing their tickets you should definitely act quickly!

7. Barry Manilow: June 10th – October 23rd

As an Adult Contemporary artist, Manilow has been wowing audiences with his talent for over 40 years! Best known for, “Mandy” and “Copacabana (At the Copa),” the artist began his career in 1974 and has been performing ever since. His residency will be held at The Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in June, September, and October with ticket prices starting at $54, increasing in price as you get closer to the stage. All shows will begin at 7pm PST, so be sure to plan your other Vegas events accordingly!

8. Scorpions ft. Queensrÿche: May 8th – 30th

The Scorpions will be performing in Zappos Theater at The Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino alongside fellow Heavy Metal Band, Queensrÿche. As a group that originated in Germany, The Scorpions debuted their first song in 1965 with the goal to conquer the American music scene, doing so with extreme success. Fast forward 56 years and The Scorpions are still prevalent amongst American Heavy Metal fanatics, especially with their most famous songs, “Rock You Like A Hurricane” and “Wind of Change.” Their performance will feature a guest appearance from Queensrÿche, who will reinforce the show’s blend of Hard Rock and poetic lyrics to guarantee a night of good times for all concert attendees. All shows begin at 8pm PST, with ticket prices starting at $60 and increasing in price as you get closer to the stage.
