Terminal West

Terminal West is a 7,000 square feet music venue with exceptional lighting and sound systems. Terminal West has two bars and connects to the King Plow art center’s restaurant, Stationside, which is open during all live shows, and for lunch on Tuesday – Friday. They have an extensive beer list and other creative drinks. Interestingly, the Terminal West bars serve only canned beer from notable craft breweries such as 21st Amendment, Oskar Blues, Avery, New Belgium, Sierra Nevada, and many more. There is also a balcony that provides patrons with an eagle-eye view of the action on stage during performances, and an outdoor roof deck overlooking the historic Atlanta train tracks.

Though it is one of Atlanta’s younger music venues, having opened during the Spring of 2012, Terminal West quickly rose to prominence. Though it started with heavily electronic and dubstep shows, Terminal West has evolved into a well rounded space with more indie and rock acts in its lineup. To date, artists such as Ok Go, Walk the Moon, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Caribou and People Get Ready have performed.

Where is Terminal West located?

Terminal West is located inside the King Plow Arts Center at Entrance 1 (look for the parking deck). Parking is $5 on show nights, cash or credit card accepted. The Box Office is open during the day on Tuesday-Friday from 11am-5pm and during evening shows. The first 20 minutes in the parking deck are free.

Yes, Stationside is open during every show from doors until when the headliner goes on (only for people at the show). It’s open to the public for lunch Tues-Fri 11am-2pm.

Can I come to a show if I’m under 18?

Check the event info of the show you’re interested in. Some shows are 18+, some are all ages. If a show is 18+ and you are under 18, you can still attend if you are accompanied by a parent.

Is there a coat check at Terminal West?

There is no coat check at Terminal West.

Does Terminal West have seating?

The majority of their shows are General Admission standing room only. If a show has seating, it is specified in the show info on their website. If you are a guest that is in a wheelchair, please reach out to them ahead of time so they can prepare accommodations for you. Unfortunately, any seating in the venue is limited to barstools and is first come first serve basis and not available for all shows.

No, smoking is not allowed inside, but they have an upper deck outdoor area where you can smoke.

Can I take pictures during shows?

Professional cameras and gopros are not allowed. If you want to take pictures or video with these type of cameras, you would need to get permission from the band and have a photo or video pass.

Where/when can I pick up my will call tickets?

Will call tickets are available for pick up on the night of the show at the venue box office 10 minutes before doors open.
