Yo Gotti, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. In 1996, Gotti released his debut album Youngsta’s On a Come Up under the alias Lil Yo. He went on to release From Da Dope Game 2 Da Rap Game (2000), Self-Explanatory (2001), Life (2003), Back 2 da Basics (2006), Live from the Kitchen (2012), I Am (2013), The Art of Hustle (2016), I Still Am (2017) and Untrapped (2020).

In early 2013, Gotti announced that he and his label CMG had been signed to a distribution deal with Epic Records from longtime business partner L.A. Reid. On May 28, 2013, Yo Gotti announced that his sixth studio album would be titled I Am. The first single from his sixth studio album I Am is titled “Act Right” and features Young Jeezy and YG. The song debuted at #5 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart and at #39 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. As of September 21, it has peaked at #100 on the Hot 100, making it Gotti and YG’s third Hot 100 entry, #33 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and at #24 on the Rap Songs chart. In July 2013, it was announced that the album would be released on November 19, 2013.

On August 22, 2013, he announced the I Am Tour Dates, a tour in promotion of I Am which ran from September 14, 2013, until November 19, 2013, with supporting acts including YG, Zed Zilla, Shy Glizzy and Cash Out. On September 2, 2013, Yo Gotti released the mixtape Nov 19th: The Mixtape in promotion for the album. Yo Gotti released the official cover art for both the standard and deluxe versions of The Art of Hustle, and the release date of the album. The album released on February 19, 2016, and peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200. The album’s lead single “Down in the DM” (featuring Nicki Minaj on the remix) peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. In August 2016, singer Meghan Trainor released “Better” featuring Gotti, as the third single from her second major-label album, Thank You. Gotti closed out 2016 with the announcement of a deal with Jay Z and his Roc Nation label, in partnership with his own CMG (Collective Music Group) imprint. Big Sean, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. Sean signed with Kanye West’s GOOD Music in 2007, Def Jam Recordings in 2008 and Roc Nation in 2014.

After releasing a number of mixtapes, Sean released his debut studio album, Finally Famous, in 2011, which peaked at number three on Billboard 200, and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He released his second studio album, Hall of Fame, in 2013, that peaked at number three on Billboard 200, and became certified Gold. Sean’s next albums, Dark Sky Paradise (2015) and I Decided (2017), both peaked atop the Billboard 200 and received Platinum certifications.

In the following months, he also appeared on notable singles like the 21 Savage & Metro Boomin track “Pull Up N Wreck,” Calvin Harris‘ “Feels” with Pharrell Williams and Katy Perry, and “Miracles (Someone Special)” with Coldplay. To round out his year, he joined forces with Metro Boomin for the collaborative album Double or Nothing.

It would be two years before Big Sean returned with new music, issuing new singles in the summer of 2019 while working towards a new full-length. French Montana, is a Moroccan-American rapper. Born and raised in Morocco, he immigrated to the United States with his family when he was 13. He is the founder of Coke Boys Records, and its predecessor Cocaine City Records. After years of independent material, he was signed as joint-venture record deal with Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy Records and Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group in 2012.

French Montana released his mixtape debut in 2007, and had his first breakthrough with the single “Choppa Choppa Down” in 2010. He released his debut studio album Excuse My French on May 21, 2013. In July 2017, Montana released his second studio album, Jungle Rules, which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. The album was supported by the single “Unforgettable”, featuring Swae Lee, which became Montana’s first song as lead artist to reach the top 10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Montana unexpectedly released that album as a mixtape and premiered it on Drake’s Beats 1 radio show, OVO Sound radio later that night. Montana revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show that the first and second single from his upcoming project is ready to be released. He also announced a collaborative track with Chance the Rapper and Quavo, produced by Ben Billions, a collaboration with Swae Lee that is “just like ‘Unforgettable'”, as well as a song called “No Stylist”. On December 6, 2019, French Montana released his third studio album Montana, which includes the song “Writing on the Wall”, a collaboration with Cardi B, Post Malone and Rvssian. Two Friends is an American DJ/producer duo made up of Eli Sones and Matthew Halper. The Los Angeles-based duo gained popularity for their remixes, original discography, and hour-long ‘Big Bootie’ mixes. They have most notably remixed such classics as Blink 182’s ‘I Miss You’ and The Killers‘ ‘Mr. Brightside,’ with official remixes for Lana Del Rey, Tove Lo, The Chainsmokers, Tori Kelly, Vicetone and Echosmith as well.

Eli grew up in Los Angeles, while Matt moved around before settling into LA at the age of ten. They met each other in seventh grade while attending Brentwood School throughout their middle and high school years. At the very end of high school, the duo formed Two Friends, coming up with the name together during a Senior Seminar class they had both enrolled in. They began working on hip-hop beats in the software Pro Tools, producing for several up-and-coming rappers before pivoting towards the electronic realm. After visiting the Sahara Tent at Coachella and being slowly introduced to electronic music by some friends and family, they became even more fascinated with the emerging genre and soon dove in head-first.

They recently described their music as “songs that are fun and get you dancing and moving, but also hopefully resonate with you on a more emotional level at the same time… [They are] kind of a melting pot of a lot of different elements and influences- whether from dance music, from pop, even from alternative rock or hip-hop.”

Two Friends recently signed a residency with Encore Beach Club and EBC at Night.

Thomas Wesley Pentz (born November 10, 1978), better known by his stage name Diplo, is an American DJ, record producer, songwriter, and record executive based in Los Angeles, California.

He is the co-creator and lead member of the dancehall music group Major Lazer, and along with producer and DJ Skrillex, formed the electronic duo Jack Ü. He founded and manages record company Mad Decent, as well as co-founding the non-profit organization Heaps Decent. Among other jobs, he has worked as a schoolteacher in Philadelphia.

His 2013 EP Revolution debuted at number 68 on the US Billboard 200. The song was later featured in a commercial for Hyundai and is featured on the WWE 2K16 soundtrack.

During his rise to fame, Diplo worked with British musician M.I.A., an artist who is credited with giving him exposure in his early career. Later, he and fellow M.I.A. producer Switch created a Jamaican dancehall project and cartoon series titled Major Lazer. Since then, Diplo has worked on production and mixtape projects with many other pop artists, such as Gwen Stefani, M.I.A., Die Antwoord, Tinie Tempah, Britney Spears, Madonna, Shakira, Banda Uó, Beyoncé, No Doubt, Justin Bieber, Usher, Wale, Big Sean, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Ellie Goulding, MØ, Sean Paul and G-Dragon. His alias, short for Diplodocus, derives from his childhood fascination with dinosaurs. Diplo co-produced tracks on Rebel Heart, Lemonade and Purpose.

2 Chainz is the stage name of Atlanta rapper Tauheed Epps, once known as Tity Boi in the Atlanta-based Playaz Circle. 2 Chainz launched a successful solo career in 2010, and began issuing a parade of Top 40 hits while becoming the go-to artist for guest verses. His breakout year was 2012, when he landed on Kanye West’s “Mercy” and Nicki Minaj’s “Beez in the Trap” before dropping his official debut, Based on a T.R.U. Story, for Def Jam. With three platinum hits — “No Lie” featuring Drake, “Birthday Song” featuring Kanye West, and “I’m Different” — the album hit number one on the Billboard 200, and easily reached platinum status.

In 2017 2 Chainz released his fourth studio album titled Pretty Girls Like Trap Music on June 16 by Def Jam Recordings. The album features Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Swae Lee, Migos, Jhene Aiko, Pharrell Williams, and more. Album production was done by Mike Will Made It, Buddah Bless, Mike Dean, Murda Beatz, and more. 50 Cent is an American rapper, actor, producer, and entrepreneur. Born in the South Jamaica neighborhood of the borough of Queens, Jackson began selling drugs at age twelve during the 1980s crack epidemic. Dijon Isaiah McFarlane, known professionally as Mustard (formerly DJ Mustard), is an American record producer, DJ, record executive, rapper, and songwriter. He is a frequent collaborator of fellow California-bred artists YG and Ty Dolla Sign; among various other records for the hip hop and R&B genres since his entrance into mainstream music with Tyga’s 2011 single, “Rack City”.

Mustard’s production style has been described as an up-tempo, club oriented, catchy yet rudimentary melodic hip hop style. This style has developed into the contemporary production style of West Coast hip hop during the early 2010s, which he calls “ratchet music”. Almost all of his productions begin or end with the tag “Mustard on the beat, hoe!”, a voice sample of YG, who says it at the end of “I’m Good”, one of their early collaborations, as well as claps and repetition of the word “hey”.

Mustard has since released 3 solo albums: 10 Summers in August 2014, Cold Summer in September 2016, and Perfect Ten in June 2019. While their rise to fame was somewhere between fast and meteoric, the Atlanta trio Migos are steeped in the Southern tradition of hip-hop groups, having come together over their shared love of acts like the Hot Boys and OutKast. Members Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff, who are all related, grew up together and first started making music in 2009 under the name Polo Club, with the name Migos becoming official in 2010. In 2012, they released the mixtape No Label, which featured the cut “Bando,” a regional hit that caught the attention of producer Zaytoven and Kevin Lee, aka Coach K, the manager who launched the careers of Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy. The year 2013 was a whirlwind, as June saw the group drop their Young Rich N*ggas mixtape, which featured the instant hit “Versace.” That same year, Coach K got them on the Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash, a popular Atlanta festival where Migos came across their newest fan, Drake. The rapper added a verse to the “Versace” remix and put the cut on his 2013 album Nothing Was the Same.

In 2018, Migos released a sequel LP, Culture II, which featured production by Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Metro Boomin, and more, as well as guests 21 Savage, Drake, Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B. The set topped the Billboard 200 and spawned the platinum hits “MotorSport,” “Stir Fry,” “Walk It Talk It,” and “Narcos.” In the lead-up to the third Culture installment in 2019, the trio issued a series of singles, including “Pure Water” with Mustard, “Position to Win,” and “Stripper Bowl” from the label compilation Quality Control: Control the Streets, Vol. 2.
