Lil Uzi Vert, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Lil Uzi gained initial recognition following the release of the commercial mixtape Luv Is Rage (2015), which led to a recording contract with Atlantic Records, to whom he signed to under DJ Drama’s Generation Now imprint. He then attracted mainstream attention following the release of his debut single “Money Longer” in 2016, which peaked at number 54 on the Billboard Hot 100, and later became certified double platinum.

The song would act as the lead single for the subsequent mixtape Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World (2016); the project debuted at number 37 on the Billboard 200, and also contained the song “You Was Right”, which charted at number 40 on the Hot 100. After releasing two additional mixtapes in 2016 and 2017, including one in collaboration with Gucci Mane, Lil Uzi was featured on the chart-topping Migos‘ single “Bad and Boujee”, and later secured his first top ten single with “XO Tour Llif3”, which peaked at number 7. “XO Tour Llif3” acted as the lead single to Lil Uzi Vert’s debut studio album Luv Is Rage 2 (2017), which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and was certified platinum. The album also contained the singles “The Way Life Goes” and “Sauce It Up”. He was nominated for two Grammy Awards including ‘Best New Artist’. Lil Uzi’s second studio album, Eternal Atake, released on March 6, 2020, as a surprise release. On March 13, 2020, a week after the release of Eternal Atake, he released a follow up to his 2016 mixtape Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World titled Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World 2, which also serves as the second half of Eternal Atake.

Nav is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer from Rexdale, Ontario. Nav began his career as a producer, eventually co-producing Drake’s Grammy-nominated Back to Back in 2015. His career began taking off in 2016 when his song “Myself” went viral. Nav signed to XO and Republic Records and released his self-titled debut mixtape, as well as Perfect Timing with Metro Boomin. In 2018, Nav released his debut studio album Reckless and followed up with a second album in 2019 titled Bad Habits, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200.

After being signed with The Weeknd and XO, Nav has been able to work with some of the top talents in the industry. This includes The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Gunna, Meek Mill and many more. Tom Stræte Lagergren born 29 May 1991, professionally known as Matoma, is a Norwegian DJ and record producer. Lagergren was born in Ã…snes, Norway. He started playing the piano as a child. During that period, he won a contest to perform alongside Norwegian pianists HÃ¥vard Gimse and Leif Ove Andsnes. As he grew tired of classical piano, Lagergren began mixing on his computer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

His remix of “Old Thing Back” by The Notorious B.I.G. became popular when it charted in Norway, peaking at number two on VG-lista, the official Norwegian singles chart. It also charted highly in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and New Zealand. It reached number 1 on the music blog aggregator Hype Machine with many record companies including Big Beat Records expressing interest in Matoma’s work after hearing the remix. Derek Vincent Smith born November 25, 1981, known by his stage name Pretty Lights, is an American electronic music producer. Pretty Lights was originally a music project consisting of him and Michal Menert, who left after the release of their first album. Rick Rubin once described Pretty Lights as “the face and voice of the new American electronic music scene”.

In 2010, Pretty Lights played at the 2010 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, the 2010 Marchone Music Productions Illumination Show in Nashville, the 2010 Evolve Festival in Nova Scotia, Movement 2010 (the Detroit Electronic Music Festival), the 2010 Starscape Festival, Camp Bisco, Nocturnal Festival at Apache Pass, Texas, the 2010 Electric Zoo at Randall’s Island in New York City, New York, the North Coast Music Festival in Chicago, Illinois, and the Outsidelands Festival in San Francisco, California. More recently, he headlined the Snow Ball in Avon, Colorado, along with Bassnectar and the Flaming Lips. In June 2011, Pretty Lights played a late-night set at Bonnaroo, where he debuted the song “I Know the Truth.” Smith also debuted his state-of-the-art light show in early 2011 involving LED towers made to look like a cityscape. In July 2011, he headlined at the Electric Forest in Rothbury, Michigan, at Camp Bisco in Mariaville, New York, and at the All Good Music Festival in Masontown, West Virginia, where he performed a special “once in a lifetime” track, a remix of John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”

Magnus August Høiberg born 29 November 1987, known professionally as Cashmere Cat, is a Norwegian musician, DJ and record producer. He is best known for producing songs for various artists, as well as remixing and editing songs from those respective artists as well. He also represented Norway in the DMC World DJ Championships as DJ Final from 2006 to 2009. His debut EP, Mirror Maru, released in October 2012, gained recognition from several other producers.

On 31 March, the fourth single from Cashmere’s debut album, “9 (After Coachella)” premiered on SoundCloud and featured MØ and Sophie. On 10 April, he announced on Twitter that the debut album was renamed from Wild Love to 9, reflecting the fourth single, and that production was completed. During late April, the official album tracklist was revealed, showing that The Weeknd, Francis and the Lights, Selena Gomez, Tory Lanez, Camila Cabello, MØ and SOPHIE are all featured appearances. Others were revealed to be Kehlani, Kacy Hill, Ariana Grande, Ty Dolla Sign and Jhené Aiko. The album was finally released on April 28, 2017.

Louis the Child is a Winnetka-based DJ and production duo consisting of Robby Hauldren and Frederic Kennett. They are best known for their singles “Better Not”, “It’s Strange”, “Weekend”, and “Fire”.

Louis the Child started playing at small venues through 2013 and 2014. In 2015, the band rose in popularity with the release of their single “It’s Strange”. Freddy Kennet was 17 at the time and still in high school. Robby Hauldren was beginning his freshman year at the University of Southern California. The single garnered praise from artists such as Taylor Swift, who added “It’s Strange” as one of her “Songs that Will Make Life Awesome” and was featured on the FIFA 16 soundtrack. “It’s Strange” was later featured in a commercial for the 2019 Nissan Kicks. They later opened for artists such as Madeon and The Chainsmokers. The duo embarked on their own tour on October 17, 2015, starting in Chicago. In 2017, the duo headlined a 32 show tour with support from Joey Purp, Lauv, Louis Futon, Prince Fox, Ashe, Party Pupils, Point Point, and Win & Woo, during which they made various contributions including playing a sold-out Thanksgiving show at the Aragon Ballroom.
